1. Who we are

The Nourishment Project ("we," "us") operates this website, a food trailer serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and a nonprofit mission funding free meals for neighbors facing food insecurity. We are a newly incorporated organization (incorporated July 10, 2026); our 501(c)(3) status is currently pending with the IRS.

2. Ordering food

When you place an order through this site, payment is processed by Square. Prices, menu availability, and pickup/delivery windows are subject to change without notice. Placing an order means you agree to pay the listed total, including any tip and round-up donation you choose to add.

If there's a problem with your order — wrong item, missing item, payment issue — contact us at thenourishmentprojectdfw@gmail.com and we'll make it right.

3. Text messages

If you provide a phone number at checkout, you consent to receive order-status text messages (e.g. order confirmed, order ready) sent via Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

4. Donations

Donations made through this site are processed by Zeffy, a third-party donation platform, subject to Zeffy's own terms.

Our 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS is pending. We do not guarantee that donations are tax-deductible until that determination is issued. Once approved, deductibility for gifts made during the pending period may apply retroactively — we recommend confirming with your tax advisor before claiming a deduction, and keeping your donation receipt in the meantime.

Donations are generally non-refundable. For gifts of $250 or more, we'll provide a written acknowledgment as required for tax purposes.

5. Intellectual property

The text, photos, logo, and design of this site belong to The Nourishment Project unless otherwise noted. Please don't reproduce them without asking us first.

6. Third-party links and services

This site links to and relies on third-party services — including Square, Zeffy, and Twilio, and links to partner organizations' websites. We aren't responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party site or service.

7. Disclaimer

This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Nourishment Project isn't liable for any damages arising from your use of this site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the organization grows. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
